Finally, another post released right here on the Living Room Designs Blog! I’m so sorry for the time needed to write it down but I have a lot of projects going on at the moment & the university has just started.

Decorating a living room shouldn’t be extravagant & expensive. If you are in a tight budget, you can always do it yourself instead of hiring some designer to do it for you, but if you can afford to hire a lovely designer, so why not? You can plan ahead & check for models on the internet or magazines to image the real effect on your living room. Below you can see some of the most popular living room design idea:

1. Hawaiian-inspired design isn’t so difficult to achieve. Always remember the key elements: hand-made ornaments & accessories, woven bamboo furniture & the bold floral signature . If you like the Hawaiian sun, sea & flora, you can incorporate these aspects in your living room designs when planning your living room design.
2. Classic-Modern Design is the most common living room design used in the world! Rooms that have the classic style & modern design advantage of the relaxing feel & the texture of the  living space. If you’ve a  strong or sharp geometric space, toning & softening with textures is the way to do it.
3. Tropical Style create outdoors in color palettes indoors. The lush green & yellow of natural flora are  two of the most common colors you can find in a living room tropical idea. Pick colors that are found naturally as color of the trees, the plants, the lowers & the fruit. Think of a tropical forest or a market full of tropical fruit to inspire your living room designs.
4. Zen Modern design is made for the relaxation & comfort in your living space. This design is  popular nowadays,  for people who wanted to have balance & comfort in their home. Having a focal point in your living room & accents to find a balance between style are the main ingredients. Integrate a natural opening to the room & let some natural light complements the Zen feel.
5. Victorian-style rooms are luxurious & elegant. You find Victorian-style lounges in the style of Victorian houses & hotels. The key here is classic, sophisticated style with a burst of color & texture. Victorian style talk shows of opulence.

Whatever the living room idea you’ve in mind, make sure it will meet your needs & lifestyle. Be sure to consult a designer if you can afford it & always remember to pick a design that you can enjoy for a long period.

You can’t always buy furniture just by its look to complement your living room designs. For example, when you create a living room decoration and you need a TV, you can find one in almost any size, shape and colors imaginable. This is also true for TV stands where you can have one in metal, fiberglass or wood  and of various finishes. Still, the design can be pretty awesome, but will the stand support the total weight of your TV?

Don’t interpret me wrong, the TV stand design is very important since it’s the perfect way to show off your new plasma TV or LCD TV when using the TV as the focal point of the living room. Choose the design and configuration to fit your entertainment needs and to complement the decoration of the living room.

Don’t be fooled by the size of the stand. A bigger stand does not mean it will bear the weight better. It all depends on what material the stand is made up of. I came across a delightful article with some quick tips for modern living room designs on how to design your own room.

I love modern living room designs! The 4 simple quick tips spoken about are useful and very handy to create a next generation living room.

Only changing the disposition of the furniture on the room, the focus can be much improved. You can also emphasize or draw attention to your furniture just by using some lighting accessories and the best of all is that you do not have to spend money to create a modern look since you already have all you need at home. In my case, I didn’t spend a single dollar applying some living room ideas.

Modern living room designs also means having some accessories of course! But still, this does not necessarily mean buying updated and modern furniture. Instead you can use modern home accessories wich are much cheaper than the brand new furniture. Don’t forget o use elegant, shiny and patterned in subdued colors such as silver, grey, or black on the accessories to create some magnificent modern living room designs. This greatly improved mine!

Some days ago, I found an interesting article about living room designs. The author, Kit Davey helped one of his clients to improve the look and feel of her traditional and unappealing living room without buying anything! Read on and pick some room design ideas!

In a carefully and well written text, the design consultant and redesign specialist explained some issues about living room designs and how to solve them. For example, to help his client, he played with the placement of the colorful pillows to create a balanced color and used a coffee table to use as a place for beverages and to display a few bright accessories.
