You can’t always buy furniture just by its look to complement your living room designs. For example, when you create a living room decoration and you need a TV, you can find one in almost any size, shape and colors imaginable. This is also true for TV stands where you can have one in metal, fiberglass or wood  and of various finishes. Still, the design can be pretty awesome, but will the stand support the total weight of your TV?

Don’t interpret me wrong, the TV stand design is very important since it’s the perfect way to show off your new plasma TV or LCD TV when using the TV as the focal point of the living room. Choose the design and configuration to fit your entertainment needs and to complement the decoration of the living room.

Don’t be fooled by the size of the stand. A bigger stand does not mean it will bear the weight better. It all depends on what material the stand is made up of.
